Vision Assist

For organisations

Partner with us to make everyday places easier to navigate.

Vision Assist is looking for a small number of founding partners to run pilots, shape the product and evaluate it with real users.

Who we work with

Built for organisations that serve blind and partially sighted people.

  • Sight-loss charities

Recruit and support pilot users, and shape features around real needs.

  • Mobility & rehab specialists

Bring professional insight into training, safety and how alerts are worded.

  • Universities & colleges

Accessible campuses for students and staff, plus joint research on evaluation.

  • Transport operators

Stations and interchanges where unfamiliar layouts and crowds are hardest.

  • Venues & employers

Workplaces, shopping centres and public buildings that want to be easier to navigate.

  • Local authorities

Public-sector accessibility programmes for streets, services and inclusion.

Ways to work together

Four ways to get involved.

  • Pilot programmes

Run a supported pilot with your service users, students or staff. We provide onboarding, support and a written evaluation.

  • Institutional licences

Planned licences for universities, transport operators, venues, employers and local authorities, with subsidised access for users.

  • Research collaboration

Joint evaluation of safety, usability and model accuracy with university and disability-innovation research groups.

  • Data & testing partners

Help collect consented, real-world walking footage and test new hazard types in your environments.

Pilot programme

How a pilot works.

  1. Step 1: Intro call

We learn about your users, sites and goals.

  2. Step 2: Plan together

Agree routes, safety rules, consent and how we measure success.

  3. Step 3: Supported pilot

Participants use Vision Assist with human support available throughout.

  4. Step 4: Evaluation

You receive findings, user feedback and recommendations.

Safety first

Participants always keep their usual mobility aid. Routes and rules are agreed in advance.

Consent and privacy

Clear, separate consent for any data collection, handled in line with UK GDPR.

Honest reporting

You get the real results — what worked, what didn’t and what we’ll change.

Access model

Free for individuals. Sustainable for everyone.
